The firefighting company FIREVAC, was founded in 1980 by Fragkiskos Vamvakaris, father of the current owner, Antonis Vamvakaris. In the first years, he was involved in the sale, maintenance, retreading of fire extinguishers and the marketing of various firefighting items. From 1994 onwards, with the addition of Antonis Vamvakaris, a graduate electrical installer, the company expanded to the installation and maintenance of fire detection, fire extinguishing, security lighting and fire safety systems in general in factories, apartment buildings, shops, industries, warehouses, offices, warehouses, etc.

Our company was one of the first to be certified in 2005 according to the new legislation concerning fire extinguishers JMD 618/43 & 17230/641 by the world leading certification body BUREAU VERITAS and continues to this day to cooperate with the leading manufacturers of firefighting equipment to offers you absolute safety and security.

From 1st of March 2019, you will find us in our new store at 22 Terpsitheas Street in Paleo Faliro, in a larger space that combines an exhibition and laboratory for maintenance and retreading of fire extinguishers, also offering ample parking for your best service. With experience for 41 years, the company FIREVAC guarantees responsible work, consistency, absolute effectiveness against the evil called FIRE and of course responsible after-sales service.
