The unit consists of two parts: the base unit and the detachable portable section.
The base functions as a charging dock.
The light source consists of high-intensity white LEDs, which operate either from the mains power supply when the unit is placed in the base, or from the internal battery when removed from the base.
The emergency light features three lighting levels:
- Level 1: Indicator lighting during charging via the charging LED
- Level 2: Activated by pressing the switch while the unit is on the charging base
- Level 3: Automatically activated when the unit is removed from the base or in case of power failure
