In accordance with Greek Law 2251/1994 on consumer protection, as amended and currently in force, consumers purchasing products from the www.firevac.gr online store have the right to withdraw from their purchase within fourteen (14) calendar days, without providing a reason and without incurring any costs other than those expressly stated below.

1. Withdrawal period

The withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) calendar days after the day on which the consumer, or a third party indicated by the consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the products.

Where a single order includes multiple products delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day the last product is received. For service contracts, the withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

2. Exercising the right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision through a clear statement before the withdrawal period expires:

  • By telephone at +30 210 9326262, followed by confirmation by email.
  • By post or in person at FIREVAC E.E., 22 Terpsitheas Street, Palaio Faliro, Athens, P.C. 17563, Greece.

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, although its use is not mandatory. The deadline is met if you send your withdrawal statement before the fourteen-day period expires. We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal request by email.

3. Returning the products

You must return the products to FIREVAC E.E., 22 Terpsitheas Street, Palaio Faliro, Athens, P.C. 17563, Greece, without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after informing us of your decision to withdraw.

The direct cost of returning the products is borne by the consumer. The consumer is responsible only for any reduction in the value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and proper functioning.

4. Refunds

We will refund all payments received from you, including the initial standard delivery costs. If you selected a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us, the additional cost will not be refunded.

The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will use the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed to another method. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned products or until you provide evidence that the products have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

5. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, including custom-made fire doors or fire-extinguishing systems.
  • Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been removed after delivery, including applicable first-aid products.
  • Products which, after delivery, have become inseparably mixed with other items.
  • Services, including maintenance, refilling and installation services, that have been fully performed, provided that performance began with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal would be lost once the service had been fully performed.

6. Business customers

The statutory right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers, namely natural persons acting for purposes outside their commercial, business, trade or professional activity.

For purchases made by businesses or professionals with an invoice, the terms stated in our Return Policy apply.
