The Electromechanical System of Local Application with the trade name ” ACHILLES® ” is included in the Fire Detection & Suppression Systems of class (F) in Professional Kitchens.
The System has Automatic & Manual Operation while it differs from the “MOVIAK DIAS®” System in the Fire Detection Method.
Instead of the Heat Sensitive Linear Heat Detection Cable, this System uses a Sprinkler Type Heat Lamp Connector for Fire Detection.
The Heat Lamp Device detects a potential source of fire throughout the entire surface of the protected Kitchen & Kitchen Drain as well as in the Air Ducts. Heat Lamps are available in Activation Temperatures of 68°C, 141°C, 182°C and 260°C.
In essence, the Heat Lamps are connected to each other by a Wire Rope which ends in a Position Switch which is connected to the Control Panel of the MOB-2000 System. During Auto Activation, in the event of a Fire, once the ampoule of any Heat Lamp is broken, the wire rope relaxes causing the Position Switch Contact to close – closing the contact means an Extinguishing Alarm from the System Control Panel and the Material is dispensed from the same Launchers in all protected Homes.
